I created this cable generator digital asset for a client working on a video game. It was meant to be used directly in Unity editor using Houdini Engine as a tool in level creation. Because of interactive use of the tool, It needed to be fast – so there is no delay when artists are moving the handles or changing parameters.

To achieve that, I created the tool almost entirely using VEX and Compiled Blocks. You can read more about Compiled Blocks here.
